Carrollton Animal Services has prepared this list to support finding new homes or rescue opportunities for animals that may be euthanized on Wednesday, 04-23-08 this list is being sent to a number of rescue groups that have provided tremendous support to our organization. There I was out minding my own business, not bothering anyone when someone decided I needed to be brought to the shelter to be kept safe and to find a home. I think I was doing ok on the streets, but I have to admit a nice comfy house with people to spoil me does sound very tempting. Not only am I a very handsome cat, I am a very nice cat as well. If you are looking for a cat to make your own then let me tell you I am the one for you. I don’t mind other cats, and can hold my own when it comes to dogs (as long as they are cat friendly)

I was out and about and a little bit hungry when I caught the smell of some tuna fish. I should of known it was to good to be true, but a girl has gotta eat, so I entered the strange box and all of the sudden the door closed behind me and I was trapped. Well at least I got to eat the tuna. I was brought here to this shelter to find myself a place to live where the food isn’t found it is given to me by loving people. The shelter isn’t so bad, I get good food every day, but there are other cats here and I don’t really like them. I like to sing a lot and love to held and petted. The people here say black cats have a hard time finding homes, but I am hoping someone will prove them wrong and come and choose me.

My curiosity got the best f me when I wondered into the strange box to check out the yummy smells coming from inside. Well once I was inside the door slammed shut and I was caught. Figuring the best thing to do was eat and relax I waited to see what was next. Lucky for me the strange box was brought to this shelter where there are all kinds of new sights and smells for me to investigate. I am a very outgoing cat and like to greet all the people who come into the room. I like to play with the pretty ball they gave me and when the people here stop to visit. Though I am ready to move on now into a new home, one where I don’t have to share the people and the beds are softer.

Hey there, I am the kinda dog everyone is looking for (except my previous people). I am smart, on the smaller side and just all round cute and loveable. I really like other dogs, and look forward to seeing all the people that have come to look for a new pet, I would like it a lot more if someone choose me. My people never took me for a walk so I decided to take myself for one. What I did not count on is that the world outside of the fence would be so large and I seem to have gotten lo lost in it and if that doesn’t beat all I left my Identification at home. I am a young boy between one and two years old, I like other dogs and live to play. While I am enjoying my stay here at the shelter, and like to play with my roommate I am about ready to move on, back to a home that can be my very own. Oh yeah, my ears are natural but my tail is docked.

They tell me it is a miracle that I am still amongst the living, after being run over by a car. Someone in the big dog house in the sky must be watching over me. My luck did not stop with just surviving but to everyone’s amazement I wasn’t seriously injured only a few bumps and scrapes. They say my wounds will heal up over time. I am a very good little guy who just wants to find a home of my own. They have been very nice here at the shelter to me, but I am ready to move on. I would not mind a house with another dog (preferably a little one like me). So if you are trying to find yourself a new friend and a lucky charm then please pick me.

I really hate this place, there are to many other dogs and all kinds of noise. They try to be nice to me here and I appreciate it but I would much rather be home. My people had a fence that had more holes in then Swiss cheese and I just could not resist the lure to explore the outside world. When the neighbors complained about me wandering through their yards, my people decided it was time for me to find a new home with a more secure yard. I like other dogs, but would prefer dogs my age or so, I am not patient enough for puppies. I am a little timid when I meet knew people, it takes me a long second to evaluate people’s intentions but once I make a decision to like a person I like them forever and ever.

I am a timid little guy found all alone wandering the streets. I was brought to the shelter where I have made some friends with the other dogs that are here and some of the people as well.
