UFOs and Cars

First let’s talk about the military’s revelation regarding the Stephenville UFO sightings. We now know that there were F-16s in the area that night. But it still doesn’t add up for me. Like I said in my previous post, the witnesses seem too credible. Everyone knows what fighter jets look like, right? And even if you can’t see them clearly (it was early evening) you certainly know what they sound like. The military’s announcement is helpful, but my gut tells me there’s more to the story. We may never know…

I’ve already confessed my Blackberry addiction. Last night I learned how hooked I am on my set of wheels. While driving on I-30 (probably too fast) my car developed a disturbing squealing/grinding noise. I fiddled with the climate control thinking it was some sort of fan on the fritz. No such luck. Somewhere near Six Flags I realized it was coming from the right front wheel. Not good. To make a long story just a little bit longer, the rest of my evening was consumed with getting my vehicle to the dealer, waiting for a diagnosis (some sort of bearing issue), and then renting a car at Love Field. Good times. So I appear on “First at Four” today courtesy of Alamo Car Rental (and my credit card).

Now all I’m worried about is the weather gang’s forecast. Anyone know how a Chevy Malibu does on ice???
